Founded in 1954 by Dale Kirscher, Kirscher Transport has been a cornerstone in the heavy haul trucking industry for nearly seven decades. Initially focused on transporting bulk commodities like cement and petroleum products, the company has evolved significantly over the years.
In February 1970, Dennis Hallberg assumed leadership, guiding Kirscher Transport toward establishing a reputation for safety and efficiency in the transport of heavy and specialized equipment. Our dedication to innovation has driven us to modify trailers in-house, allowing us to meet the specific requirements of oversized loads on public roads.
Our commitment to excellence was acknowledged in 1978 when we earned the title of first runner-up in the Heavy Specialized Carrier Conference Hauling Job of the Year competition for our successful delivery of 24 ball mills to the Empire and Tilden Mines in Upper Michigan.
In 2002, Brian Foster took the helm of Kirscher Transport, steering the company into the 21st century by expanding its reach into the global marketplace and reinforcing its position as an industry leader through the adoption of cutting-edge technology, techniques, and equipment essential for success in the specialized transportation field.
